HOW LONG WILL MY CAKE LAST?

The cake will last 4 days. However, as some of the cakes are decorated with fresh berries we recommend that it is eaten with in 2 days of purchase. The lemon meringue pie cake must be eaten on the day.

HOW DO I STORE MY CAKE?

All our cakes should be stored at room temperature, during extreme heat then store in the fridge. The lemon meringue pie cake must be kept in the fridge.

HOW FAR IN ADVANCE DO I NEED TO PLACE AN ORDER?

The more notice the better please 🙂 but a minimum of 24hours for Monday – Thursday orders. Friday – Sunday orders must be placed by 12pm on Thursday. We can get booked up so please book in advance to avoid disappointment. For a cake emergency please give us a call on 0203 601 3316 and we will do our best to help.

For wedding cakes and larger bespoke orders at least 1 week is required. We generally have a few whole cakes or tarts available to buy ‘off the shelf’ but these generally sell quite fast so please call to reserve.

DO YOU DELIVER?

Yes, we deliver across London. We use two companies, Windmill Couriers or Urbit London. Urbit couriers deliver on foot, public transport or bike. Generally our deliveries leave us at 12-1pm and deliver across London. For morning deliveries please do give us a call and we will try to accommodate. At the check out please enter your postcode to see if you’re in our delivery zone.

For all postal orders we use DPD local on a NEXT DAY service Monday to Thursday, meaning all postal orders arrive Tuesday – Friday. If you’ve placed an order on Friday, this won’t be made or sent until Monday, to arrive on the Tuesday.

ARE YOUR CAKES SUITABLE FOR DIABETICS?

We use honey instead of sugar in our refined sugar free cakes. We generally don’t use synthetic sugars but please get in touch and we can discuss using specific sugars on certain recipes.

DO YOU DO VEGAN CAKES

Yes we do vegan birthday cakes, currently on the website we have a chocolate and olive oil cake and a vanilla bean and berry cake as well as our vegan chocolate chip cookies that are available postal too!

DO YOU DO SUGAR FREE CAKES?

We don’t do 100% sugar free cakes, we use honey instead of sugar in certain cakes and can use coconut sugar or maple. If you’d like to discuss using specific ingredients please do get in touch, we’re more than happy to see if we can help.

WHAT DO YOU SUBSTITUTE SUGAR WITH IN THE REFINED SUGAR FREE CAKES?

Honey. We love honey!

DO YOUR CAKES CONTAIN NUTS?

Yes. We use ground almonds in almost all of our baking. The kitchen is very nut heavy and unfortunately we can’t offer a safe nut free option.

CAN YOU ADD WRITING ON THE CAKES?

Course! Some of the cakes it’s not possible due to the consistency of the topping but most cakes we can. We recommend less is more with the writing so it’s not over crowded.

WHAT IS A MINI LOAF?

Our mini loaves are our version of a cupcake! They are the same weight and size but just in a little rectangle and we love them. They’ve got our signature dollop on top and they’re a great little cake for sharing too.
